About Studio Grazia

Just call me an espresso shot: an Italian classic, intense, and not to everyone’s taste.

Studio Grazia is an Italian culture and lifestyle publication for women who carry their heritage in their bones but live it somewhere else entirely.

It exists for the Italian diaspora woman who knows what la bella figura means without being able to explain it in English. Who has strong opinions about ragù, about the Church, about what constitutes a real holiday. Who finds herself caught between two cultures and has stopped trying to choose.

The publication covers life and style, amore, faith, and travel, not as separate categories, but as facets of the same lived experience. The writing is opinionated, specific, and unapologetically Catholic. It’s interested in what Italian identity actually means for women like us, in 2026 and beyond, on the other side of the world.

If you’re looking for dreamy travel content, limone aesthetics, and soft-focus olive groves, you’re in the wrong place. If you want someone to say the thing out loud, pull up a chair.

“I’ve always loved the idea of not being what people expect me to be.”

The Editor

Studio Grazia is written and edited by Maree, an Italian-Australian copywriter based in Melbourne.

Of Abruzzese heritage and holding full Italian citizenship through jure sanguinis, Maree has spent nearly fifteen years working across editorial, digital, and branded content. She holds two degrees from Monash University and writes with the particular authority of someone who has read widely, travelled often, and argued about all of it at the dinner table.

Studio Grazia is the publication she always wanted to read. She decided to write it herself.
